Welcome to Reynolds Psychiatry & Psychotherapy. I’m glad you’re here. I provide trauma-informed psychiatric care with a strong focus on treatment planning for young adults navigating the demands of early adulthood. Whether you’re experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, ADHD, struggling with burnout, identity, or major life transition; I offer care that is both evidence-based and tailored to your needs.

Medication can be an important tool - whether you’re considering starting it, looking to adjust your current medications, or exploring how it fits alongside therapy. I take a collaborative, person-centered approach to prescribing, with close monitoring and ongoing conversations to ensure your treatment aligns with your goals and values.

I offer telehealth appointments across New York State, with evening and weekend availability and scheduling flexibility to accommodate academic, professional, or personal demands. I accept some insurances and private pay.

For trainees and early-career professionals: I recognize how difficult it can be to prioritize your own mental health while working in high-stress environments. My practice is designed to offer discreet, accessible care that fits into your life without compromising your privacy or your time.

Psychiatric Consultation

The consultation typically takes place over one-to-two sessions. During this time, I will take the opportunity to get to know you — what brings you in, your experiences, and any relevent history. We will work toward understanding the concerns you’re facing, and I will offer diagnostic insight to help make sense of what’s going on, including the inherent strengths you already bring to the table. We will then explore treatment options that might be helpful for you: individual therapy, medication, or a combination of both. My goal is to collaborate with you on a plan that feels both practical and aligned with your values and priorities.

Individual Psychotherapy

I offer both short-term and longer-term individual therapy, grounded in a psychodynamic approach. Sessions are typically 45 minutes and typically occur once-or-twice a week, depending on your priorities and preferences. My style is both trauma-informed and structured, with a focus on the therapeutic relationship. Together, we will explore how your past experiences, relationships, and patterns — even those outside of your conscious awareness — may be influencing how you think, feel, and act tofay. The goal is to deepen insight, reduce emotional distress, and help you move toward the kind of life you want to be living.

Medication Management

Medication can be a helpful part of taking care of your mental health — especially when used alongside therapy, exercise, sleep, and nutrition. While I don’t believe medication is the answer to everything, I do believe it can help make the transition to meaningful change more possible and manageable. Whether you are starting medication for the first time, making adjustments, or wanting to stop medications, my approach is to focus on aligning medication treatment with your personal goals, priorities, and values. I do this by finding the lowest effective dose, minimizing side effects, and maximizing the benefits.
